Although his film and television career gradually declined, memes kept him relevant. "He was everywhere," recalls Stephen Goodwin, a meme enthusiast.
For many young people, the actor's image is limited to these memes.
“For my generation, memes were basically all we knew about him,” says a 25-year-old. “He fit the stereotype of the tough guy in action movies, but you could hardly name a movie of his.”
Memes spread rapidly with the rise of social media. On platforms like Facebook and the then-current Twitter, images of Norris with a tough demeanor and short sarcastic messages became a daily occurrence. “Everywhere you went, you saw these jokes,” recalls a 27-year-old. “I laughed, even though I didn’t even know who he was.”
From childhood to the internet today
Some people remember being exposed to memes as early as elementary school. “When we were learning about the rotation of the Earth, someone said the Earth was spinning because Chuck Norris was running too fast,” says another user. “We were laughing at the time, but I had no idea who it really was.”
Although the intensity of the phenomenon has declined in recent years, the jokes have not disappeared. In some corners of the internet they remain alive, with sites continuing to publish relevant content every day.

Today, Chuck Norris' "facts" have entered a new phase, as they are combined with artificial intelligence. The new images are created digitally, but retain the same humor that made him famous.
Norris himself seemed to be aware of and enjoying this particular form of fame. In interviews, he would read the jokes and laugh, demonstrating that he was fully aware of the image that had been created around his name.
