World Cup/ Poland's squad released/ Sylvinho invites Muçi and Mehmet, two new additions to the defense

The Albanian national team will play the first match of the 2026 World Cup play-offs against Poland on March 26 in Warsaw, at 8:45 PM.

Coach Silvinho has announced the list of 26 players invited for this match, as well as for the possible match against Ukraine/Sweden on March 31st.

Defenders Stavro Pilo and Bujar Pllana have received an invitation to the Albanian National Team for the first time.

Major absences in the attack department, where Rey Manaj and Mirlind Daku are not included, due to injuries.

Goalkeepers: Thomas Strakosha, Elhan Kastrati, Mario Dajsinani

Defenders : Mario Mitaj, Stavro Pilo, Naser Aliji, Berat Gjimshiti, Bujar Pllana, Klisman Cake, Arlind Ajeti, Ardian Ismajli, Elseid Hysaj, Ivan Balliu

Midfielders : Kristjan Asllani, Adrion Pajaziti, Ylber Ramadani, Juljan Shehu, Qazim Laçi, Nazmi Gripshi, Arbër Hoxha, Anis Mehmeti, Jasir Asani

Forwards: Myrto Uzuni, Ernest Muçi, Nedim Bajrami, Armando Broja

The Albanian national team will begin preparations on Monday at the "House of Football" for the first match against Poland, while on Wednesday it will travel to Warsaw.
