Lamine Yamal buys the luxury villa where Shakira and Gerard Piqué once lived

FC Barcelona's young star, Lamine Yamal, becomes the owner of one of the most famous residences in Spain, the former home of Shakira and Piqués, taking another step in combining sporting success with private luxury. The property is located in the exclusive Ciutat Diagonal neighborhood in Esplugues de Llobregat, an area also home to other Barcelona players, such as Alejandro Balde and Ronald Araujo.
According to Spanish media, the villa is worth around 14 million euros , is spread over a plot of 3,800 square meters and includes three separate houses, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and dedicated relaxation areas. Yamal plans to transform the residence into a personal “home club”: a private gym, recovery areas, a personal trainer and an advanced security system, ideal for an elite athlete.
This historic villa was designed in 2012 by architect Mireia Admetller to serve the Shakira–Piqué couple, and now it will become home to another rising star. At 18, Yamal is already combining talent on the pitch with strategic decisions off it, laying the foundation for a life of luxury that goes beyond football.
With this purchase, he not only secures an elite address in Barcelona, but also a symbol that links his success to the legacy of the club and the Catalan camp community.
