After strong rumors that Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are in a relationship, a source close to the production of the film "The Naked Gun", where both actors have the main roles, has confirmed that they are together and that a special feeling has arisen between them.
According to a source for PEOPLE magazine, " This is a new love, in its early stages. It's sincere and it's clear that they are fascinated by each other ." The romantic relationship is said to have begun while they were working together on the set of the film.
Neeson, 73, and Anderson, 58, "really enjoy each other's company," the source adds. The two are currently promoting their new comedy, which opens in theaters this Friday, Aug. 1.
The two stars were photographed together on the red carpet of the premiere of the film "The Naked Gun" in New York on Monday, July 28. The next morning, during an appearance on the "Today" show, Anderson and Neeson were seen sharing a kiss in public in a humorous moment, causing fans to comment even more about their relationship.
The actor was previously married to British actress Natasha Richardson in 1994, with whom he had two children. The actress died in 2009 at the age of 45 after a skiing accident in Mont-Tremblant, leaving Neeson a widower. This is the first time any of his relationships have been revealed since her death.
Speaking to PEOPLE in October 2024, Neeson praised Anderson: “ With Pamela… First of all, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just wonderful to work with ,” he said. “ I can’t praise her enough, to be honest. She just comes in to do the job. She has a sense of humor and is so easy to work with,” he added.
Anderson, for her part, said that Neeson is "perfect" and that "he brings out the best in you... with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was a real honor to work with him."
In an interview for the cover of Entertainment Weekly in July, the actress said: " I think I've made a friend forever, Liam. We definitely have a very honest, very loving relationship. He's a good person . "
In May, she told the same outlet that the two became close because of their shared love “for literature.” She also commented to the magazine: “We went out to dinner a lot with the other cast members. I also invited him, along with his assistant, to romantic dinners with me and my assistant, so that our relationship would remain ‘professionally romantic’ during filming.”
