'La Casa De Papel' is back, the new series will premiere in December on Netflix

Netflix announced via video that the new episodes of "La Casa De Papel" titled "Berlin" will premiere on December 29.

The new series will follow one of the most unusual heists of the iconic character played by Pedro Alonso, who returns as Berlin.

The official synopsis says: There are only two things that are sure to turn a bad day into a great day, love and a million euro payout. Berlin is in his golden years, a time when he still has no idea about his illness. Here he begins to prepare one of his most unusual heists, causing 44 million jewels to disappear as if by magic. To do this, he will seek the help of one of the three gangs he robbed with.

Alonso is joined in the cast by Michelle Jenner, Tristán Ulloa, Begoña Vargas, Julio Peña Fernández, Joel Sánchez, Samantha Siqueiros, Julien Paschal, Masi Rodríguez and Rachel Lascar.

The series' eight episodes were created by Álex Pina (La Casa de Papel, Sky Rojo) and Esther Martínez Lobato and directed by Albert Pintó (Sky Rojo, Malasaña 32).
