Last night (Monday) the next 'Prime' of the newest edition of Big Brother VIP Kosova was held. Throughout the show, the focus was on Edona James, who, among other things, narrated her transformation story and the prejudices she encountered.
Edona revealed that she had left home since the age of 12, when she also started taking hormones to change her gender.
"I left home at the age of 12, from 12 to 16 I didn't meet my mother, my mother knew from the beginning that I didn't want to be a boy, my mother thought I would change when I grew up, my brother used to dress with men's clothes, I always wore dresses", Edona began her story.
"When I met my mother at the age of 16, I had taken hormones, from the age of 12 I started taking hormones, hormones change the body and at the age of 16 I had breast augmentation", said Edona through tears.
She also confessed to the difficulties she encountered in her family to accept her change, saying that there was no lack of physical violence exercised by the husband of her thesis.
"You know how they were, this man is how he will become a woman, my aunt's husband once beat me very badly, when he saw me after a few years he said I have entered into a sin with this thing, you can't do it change someone's mind, I've had this mind since I was born, I never had in mind to be a man", said Edona.
After her emotional confession, Edona also received a surprise from her mother, who through a letter showed her that she has her full support in her journey.
