Pots of cannabis on the balcony/ Enca escapes prison, the court overturns the prosecution

The court of Tirana has left in force today the security measure "compulsion to appear" for the singer Ruensa Haxhiaj, known as Enca.

The Court of First Instance of Tirana has assessed as legal the arrest in flagrante delicto of the singer, who had planted some cannabis plants on the balcony of the villa where she lived. However, the Court did not accept the appeal of the Prosecution regarding the determination of the measure of "arrest in prison", as the Prosecution waived its appeal.

While Enca's request to consider her arrest illegal has been rejected, as the appeal was filed outside the legal deadline.

Enca was arrested on September 12 for cultivating cannabis in her apartment. She had planted some cannabis plants in pots, which she had placed on the balcony of the house.
