The famous actor, Vin Diesel has revealed that the eleventh and last film "Fast and Furious" will premiere in 2025.

The sequel to the record-breaking action flick that grossed more than $6.6 billion at the box office will be released on May 19.

But fans will have to wait until 2025 for the franchise's grand finale, as Diesel, 55, revealed the final film will be the second installment of Fast X, DailyMail writes.

Speaking at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic 'Dom' Toretto, said: "This summer is just the beginning of Fast X."

“And with all your hard work and all your love and being part of our family, Fast X will continue. And after this explosive summer, I will have the privilege to come to you for Part Two in 2025," said the actor.

He was joined by his co-stars Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang.

Vin, whose real name is Mark Sinclair, added: "Fast is now the longest running franchise in film history featuring the same actors playing the same characters."

“This is our family, the audience is our family and as we were building towards this achievement we attracted directors who brought their magic to the saga. "I'm proud to say that for almost two decades, the films have been the most successful film of any of our directors," said Diesel.

The first movie "Fast and Furious" was released in 2001, with Diesel and the late Paul Walker as two protagonists.

Director Louis Leterrier previously told Empire Magazine what fans can expect from the latest film: “A war is starting. It's coming to an end and it's a race to the end."

"There will be some extraordinary casualties. This one is huge. I don't want to exaggerate, but what we are planning for the next one is simply gigantic, in terms of action, scope and emotions", he declared.

"Fast X" will be released in theaters on May 19.
