Over 1,000 Students Enroll at UAMD in First Round/High Demand in General Nursing

The first round of the registration process at "Aleksandër Moisiu" Durrës University was completed on September 11, where 1187 students were registered in the first cycle of studies (Bachelor).

Study programs where the interest of graduates has been higher are mainly medical technical branches, such as "General Nursing", "Midwifery", study programs in the field of information technology and "Computer Science".

"There have been many registrations in the branches of business, which in this new academic year offered the program "Economic Informatics" where the registrations so far are very satisfactory, also in "Finance-Accounting" or "Business Administration". There has been a lot of interest and registrations for the programs that offer double degrees between UAMD and the European public universities with which UAMD has signed agreements", informs UAMD, which is the first public university in the country to receive from the Commission this summer European the seal of the European university, as part of the Alliance of EU Stars Universities.

The branches in which, for the first round of registrations, the number of students is relatively low are only two programs "History and International Relations" and "Philosophy-Sociology". So far, only 2 students have been registered in the branch of "Philosophy-Aociology". According to UAMD, the process of the second round, which starts soon, is expected to have more registrations than in the first round, since the graduates are familiar with the remaining quotas and are clearer in the choice they have to make."

UAMD, the nation's newest public university, opened in 2006, currently has over 17,000 students enrolled.
