At school without a phone! Strict enforcement of the rule is required

During the summer holidays, children spent more time on their phones.

Returning to school makes it even more difficult to disconnect from technological devices since even the instruction of the Ministry of Education prohibits the use of cell phones in schools.

Parents' statements:

"We don't leave our phones with us at school, they used them during the summer, now that they have school they disconnect them to deal with the lessons".

"We let them use them at home, we are aware that we are making a mistake."

The directive to ban phones in schools was signed in 2018, but despite this, difficulties have been encountered in implementing this rule over the years. The teachers themselves indicate that this year the implementation of this rule was insisted upon.

"This year, he was taught more not to have phones in schools, neither by the teachers nor by the children. The use of phones in schools is categorically not allowed", declared the teacher.

In order to make the children's return to school and adaptation to the new routine as easy as possible, sociologists are of the opinion that there should be cooperation between parents and teachers.

"It is a separate challenge to disconnect from the mobile phone after the holidays. We are lagging in the implementation of the regulation, so today, on the first day of school, it is the obligation of all those who work in education to implement this rule, without turning into an anti-example. There should be cooperation between parents and teachers", said sociologist Entela Binjaku.

Children of primary education find it easier to adapt to the rules, unlike high school students who find it difficult to see their daily life without a phone with them.
