In the auction procedure, it bought 42 thousand megawatts, which cost 4.1 million euros.
In international markets, electricity prices have stabilized during this time and Kesh has been able to provide energy worth 99 euros per megawatt.
Overall, this year has been better, if we compare it to last year when the HPPs did not have enough water and prices rose significantly on the stock market.
This has given the Albanian system the opportunity to demand less energy in the foreign market, while the management of the cascade has not been put at risk by the lack of rainfall for any moment.
In June, the water reserve in Fierza was reported to be 296.3 meters and was 7 meters more than the historical average, as well as exceeding the maximum recorded for this month in recent years.
