How is the olive oil produced in Albania ranked compared to other countries?!

Albania, as part of the Mediterranean, has a very old tradition of olive and oil production, but in recent years it has received even more attention due to the potential it has in the country's economy in terms of the income it generates.
But how is olive oil, which is produced in Albania, ranked compared to other countries?
The EVOO World Ranking, which was created to promote to consumers the most valued products in the world, has examined 18,312 samples of olive oil from 38 olive-producing countries, including our country.
Of these 38 olive oil producing countries, Albania ranks 32nd, being evaluated with 157.50 points for 2022.
According to the data of the report, Albania has won 4 awards regarding the taste and quality of olive oil.
At the top of the ranking for 2022 is Italy with the best olive oil, accumulating 84,738 points and with 1,971 prizes won.
Spain ranks second in the world with 63,007 points and 1,393 awards, followed by Greece in third place with 53,830 points.
As for the last countries, we find Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates ranked. Meanwhile, Malta and Bosnia and Herzegovina rank behind Albania in 33rd and 34th place respectively.
