A study recently published by The Guardian reveals that 98% of Europeans breathe very harmful polluted air which is linked to around 400,000 deaths a year.
Europe is facing a "serious public health crisis", with dangerous levels of air pollution across the continent.
In Albania, areas such as Shkodra, Kukësi, Elbasani, Tirana and Korça exceed the average annual concentrations of PM2.5 by four times.
Environmentalist Sazan Guri showed on the show GoodMorning Albanian that Përmeti and Puka are 2 of the cleanest cities in Albania.
"Less polluted are Përmeti, Puka, while Korça is polluted due to heating with fire during the winter. The same for Skopje, Pristina, where the pollution comes due to the burning of the respective TECs", said Guri.
