The University of Tirana at the bottom of the international ranking, rector Hoxha: It is not final

The Rector of the University of Tirana, Artan Hoxha commented on a ranking which showed our Universities at the bottom of the list. He stated that we are dealing with a ranking in the process, and added that the final results of which will be published in 2024.

" As for one of the ranking pages that is under discussion, it is a ranking in the process because the results will be released in 2024, some of the verification criteria are not met and the results will be released in 2024" . 

Albania was ranked at the bottom of the list in the classification made by the two most important rankings of the quality of universities for Southern Europe. While the data of 2023, show that four Universities have dropped 200 places from last year's ranking. The ranking is mainly based on the studies that the universities publish on the Internet, the international scientific publications of the professorship and scientific researchers, as well as other publications of an academic character or even public opinions, etc.
