Amorim defends United's attackers: We don't lose because of them

Another setback after the enthusiasm of the impressive comeback in the Europa League against Lyon. Manchester United fell at home to Wolves on Sunday (0-1) and the atmosphere of sports drama has crossed all limits. Protests from fans everywhere, especially on social networks, have forced coach Ruben Amorim to take a stand.
"I tell the fans the truth, because our team is missing a lot of things this year. We have a lot to do and we have to focus on improving ourselves step by step. We know that until the end of the championship it will be like this and then we will have to do something, because we all want the best for United," declared the Portuguese coach.
In fact, it is not only his work that has come under attack, but also the incompetence of some players, with Rasmus Hojlund at the top of the list of accused. "If we don't score, it doesn't matter, because in the end we need the result. The only way I know to solve problems is to work and analyze the videos.
"I expect goals from all the strikers, but especially Hojlund needs to score a goal. But, if we look at the matches, we have some players who miss big opportunities," concluded Amorim.
