Tickets over 1000 euros for the World Cup, English people start protests

The 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico, looks set to break a new record, that of the most expensive edition ever.
According to British and French media, tickets are already on sale and some of them reach figures over 1,000 euros, exceeding the prices set for Qatar 2022.
Fans, according to The Sun, could pay up to double the last World Cup price, although FIFA has stated that some tickets will be at a reduced price and given to official fan organizations of national federations.
"Our commitment is to guarantee fair access for our current and future fans," FIFA said, which had already sold over two million tickets before the draw in the US.
The next window for their purchase is scheduled for December 11th.
