The 2030 World Cup starts in South America and ends in Spain, Portugal and Morocco

The 2030 World Cup will be fundamentally different from all previous years. Taking advantage of the tournament's 100th anniversary celebration (it started in 1930, in Uruguay), the first three matches will be played in South America (Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay) and the rest will be split between the three countries that dropped the candidacy joint Centenary World Cup: Portugal, Spain and Morocco.
The president of Conmebol, the Paraguayan Alejandro Domínguez, announced this Wednesday on social networks that three South American countries will host the "inaugural matches" of the 2030 World Cup. The news was later confirmed by "A BOLA". which refers to FIFA resources.
Thus, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina will be co-hosts of the 2030 World Cup.
It will be the first time that the most important event will be held in more than two countries. So far, only the 2002 World Cup, in Japan and South Korea, has had more than one host, although the next World Cup, in 2026, will be held in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
In a statement published on FIFA's website, president Gianni Infantino declared that the 2030 World Cup would mean "a great message of peace, tolerance and inclusion".
Infantino also emphasized: "The first of these three matches will certainly be played in the stadium where it all started. In the legendary "Centenário" stadium, precisely to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Football World Cup."
The 2030 World Cup, like the 2026 World Cup, will be played with 48 teams and have 104 matches. Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay are already guaranteed in the tournament./ Super Sport
