Champions League/ No miracle in England, Manchester City and Chelsea eliminated! Real Madrid, Arsenal and PSG advance to the quarterfinals

The Champions League played the first four second leg matches of the round of 16 today. Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal and Sporting Lisbon have secured a ticket to the quarter-finals, while Manchester City, Chelsea, Bayer Leverkusen and Bodo/Glimt are out of the tournament. The remaining four matches will be played on Wednesday, where the eight quarter-finalists and the next four matches will be determined.
At the 'Etihad' Manchester City lost again 1-2 to Real Madrid. For the Spaniards, the goals were scored by Vinicius Junior in the 22nd minute (11 meters) and 90+4', while Erling Haaland equalized the scores momentarily. City played for 70 minutes with one man less after Bernardo Silva's red card in the 20th minute. Even after the 3-0 victory in the first leg, it is Real Madrid that advances to the quarterfinals and awaits the winner of the Bayern Munich - Atalanta pair to learn the next rival.
At the Emirates, Arsenal won 2-0 against Bayer Leverkusen and with a 3-1 aggregate score they advance to the quarter-finals, where they will face Sporting Lisbon.
Chelsea's home team were defeated 0-3 by PSG at Stamford Bridge. The reigning Champions League champions, PSG, advance with an aggregate score of 8-2 and will face the winner of the Liverpool - Galatasaray tie in the quarter-finals.
In Lisbon, Sporting defeated Bodo/Glimt to advance to the quarter-finals after 120 minutes in today's match, which ended 5-0. Regular time ended 3-0 for the Portuguese, with the match going into extra time. Sporting then scored two more goals and with the aggregate score 5-3 they advance to the next round where they find Arsenal.
