
Guardiola's divorce, daughter speaks: They raised me with a lot of love...

Pep Guardiola's eldest daughter has spoken out following the Manchester City manager's shock split from his wife, Cristina Serra. Although she has not stopped short of commenting on her parents' divorce, Maria Guardiola, a model and influencer, spoke fondly of her parents, joking that she inherited her father's stubbornness, while her self-confidence and sense of independence from her mother.
The 24-year-old's parents, who were together for three decades and married in 2014, have yet to comment on the split. Maria, who has two younger siblings Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17, grew up moving from city to city. She was born in Barcelona before moving to Rome, New York, Munich, Manchester and now London.
"Following my father around the world to watch games gave me special memories and brought my family together," she explained to fashion magazine Vanity Fair. "I feel incredibly grateful for the experiences I've had," she added. "Although it was challenging at times, my parents made the transition easier and helped my siblings and I take advantage of the opportunities."
