Formula 1/ Leclerc: I didn't expect the podium

Ferrari enjoyed its first podium finish in the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship with third place from Charles Leclerc, in yesterday's race in Arabia.
The 27-year-old "redhead" appeared very satisfied, but on the other hand emphasized that updates are necessary to improve the SF-25 machine.
"In the qualifiers we didn't manage to get the best of our potential, but I'm very, very happy with the competition and the team.
We had a perfect pit stop and all the guys did an incredible job.
"We lacked the downforce in qualifying, but we are strong with the tires and in the race we did absolutely our best," Leclerc initially said, who then continued: "Now we have to work hard to achieve better results in qualifying, to move forward."
To be honest, I wasn't expecting the podium and I thought I had to protect myself from the Mercedes cars.
We are now looking forward to further updates to the car and seeing how we go in the next races."
