Blow for Bayern Munich, the knee injury for the center back is confirmed

Bad news for Bayern. The German champions will not be able to count on the services of Matthijs de Ligt, at least for now.

The Bavarians have made a post on social networks, where they write that the defender has suffered an injury.

"Matthijs de Ligt has suffered an injury to his left knee during training in Faro, Portugal. The diagnosis was confirmed by FC Bayern's medical department after an MRI scan. Under these conditions, the defender will not be able to train at the moment" - writes Bayern.

The Dutchman has been activated in 9 matches this championship by coach Tuchel. De Ligt is playing his second season at Bayern.
