The Albanian Football Federation and Macron have presented the new uniforms that the Eagles will wear in the next international matches. The Albanian national team comes from a European Championship "Germany 2024", where it showed that it is a strong team, capable of challenging opponents of higher levels such as Italy, Croatia (in that 2-2 draw) and Spain, which then it would be declared European Champion, in a challenge where Silvinho's boys fought until the end, being defeated with a minimal result. The experience of Euro 2024 represents an important experience for the Albanian National Team, which is aware that it is a team that can achieve important objectives.
The first act of the next edition that promises great excitement is the presentation of the new playing uniforms that the double-headed eagle national teams will wear in the upcoming international matches in the UEFA Nations League. The jerseys represent the identity of this team and the strong connection with the tradition and culture of the Balkan country. Colors, symbols and artistic references make the t-shirts created by Macron, technical partner of the AFL since 2016, unique.
The first jersey for home matches is of course in the traditional red color (the color of the Albanian flag) with the neck and sleeve ends in black. The graphic feature that makes the difference in this jersey is printed on the front, with a design typical of Albanian culture, especially used in traditional clothing, tapestries and other ornaments in general, alternating with the double-headed eagle design. The interior behind the neck is personalized with a red background label detailing the graphic present on the jersey, the text FEDERATA ALSHIPTARE E FOOTBOLLIT, the Macron logo and the text 'Designed in Bologna' proving that each piece of clothing is conceived, designed and developed at "Macron Campus". On the chest, on the right is the black silicone print, Macron Hero, and on the left is the AFL logo.
At the bottom of the shirt from the inside, there is again a ribbon with the writing separated from the design of the eagle "You Albania, give me honor", a phrase turned into the slogan of Albania, taken from the poem of the well-known poet Naim Frashëri. On the back, on the outside of the neck frame, the writing ALBANIA (Albania) is printed in black, which is repeated with printed graphics and at the bottom of the jersey. The pants are black, with the Macron Hero logo on the side stripes. The socks are also black, with two horizontal red stripes above, the same color as the Macron Hero logo placed on the ankle and the writing Albania on the calf.
The second jersey version is white with the neck frame and sleeve edges in black with red detailing. The design on the front is the same as on the first jersey, also with the corresponding prints. The neck trim, the custom stripe on the inside of the jersey, the detailing on the back of the neck and the writing on the back of the jersey are identical to the version of the first jersey. The shorts are white with black stripes, and the Macron Hero logo on the side. The white socks have two red and black stripes on the upper part and display the Macron Hero logo and the writing Albania in black, respectively above the ankle and on the calf.
Finally, the third jersey is all black, again with a neck frame with red details, also present on the ends of the sleeves. As in the first and second jersey, this jersey also has a printed pattern on the front with the typical design of Albanian culture. The Macron Hero logo on the chest is in red, just like the AFL logo on the left. The kit is completed by black shorts with the Macron Hero logo in red on the side and black socks, the latter with a red double horizontal stripe across the top. Like all the clothing made by Macron, those of the Albanian National Team are also produced in Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester clothing derived from post-consumer plastic recycling. More specifically, the fabric used is Eco-Light Sirena and the presence of the back panel in Eco Micromesh and the compositions in Eco Mesh ensure that the wear is light and breathable.
