There is no derby against Milan tonight for Lautaro Martinez. As announced by Inter coach Simone Inzaghi in the pre-match press conference, the black and blue captain, who is coming off a muscle strain in his flexors, has been handed over for the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final.
This derby match is scheduled for Wednesday, starting at 9:00 PM. The Argentine could not risk worsening his injury situation, so he aims to return for Saturday's match against Parma.
"I did my best to be there tonight, but unfortunately time is short," wrote "Toro", who has returned to training on the field, in an Instagram post. "The season is long and our objectives are still many. See you soon on the field."
