Marotta praises Inzaghi: Champions League? Dreams do come true

Inter president Beppe Marotta has praised Simone Inzaghi's work after qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals, calling this success "a source of pride for the club, the fans, the owners and especially the coach."

According to him, this achievement is part of a successful cycle that began with the arrival of Inzaghi and that has made Inter a protagonist in Europe and in Italy.

Marotta stressed that this season is very positive, regardless of the final result, as the team is still in contention for the Champions League, the championship and the Italian Cup.

He added that Inter should not set limits for itself, because it has a rich history and should always aim for victories in every competition.

On the eve of Sunday's decisive match against Bologna, Marotta said that this match is one of the most important of the season, describing Bologna as the team in the best form at the moment.

He further praised Simone Inzaghi, describing him as a winning coach, tactically prepared and skilled in managing the group.

Marotta also confirmed that the club is aiming to renew his contract with him, to avoid entering the final year without a new deal.

Finally, he spoke about rebuilding his relationship with Lautaro Martinez, who has signed a new contract as a sign of belonging and leadership in the team.

Regarding the dream of winning the Champions League, Marotta said: "It's probably the only thing I'm missing. But dreams often come true. This team has the capacity to give us a lot of pleasure."
