* "Volksparkstadion" in Hamburg is the place of the first meeting between Croatia and Albania in the second round of Group B matches in "Euro 2024".

* Both teams are coming off losses on June 15: Croatia 3-0 against Spain in Berlin and Albania 2-1 against Italy in Dortmund.

* Croatia has the 7th European participation in total and the 6th in a row, from "Euro 2004" onwards. It has reached the quarterfinals twice, in its debut in 1996 and most recently in 2008.

* Under coach Zlatko Dalic, who has been in charge of the team since 2017, Croatia finished second behind England in Group D at Euro 2020, before losing 5-3 after extra time to Spain in the fourth round 1/16th.

* Albania ranked 4th in the "Euro 2020" qualifiers, with 13 points, after France (25 points), Turkey (23) and Iceland (19).

* With Silvinho on the bench, who replaced Edoardo Reja on 1 January 2023, Albania started the 2024 qualifying campaign with a 1-0 defeat in Poland, but then managed 4 wins and 3 draws, finishing Group E with 15 points.
