Salah, Gyökeres, Lewandowski.../ Who will win the "Golden Shoe"?

Harry Kane has four games left to hope to retain the Golden Boot. The England striker, who scored 36 goals last season with Bayern Munich, has scored 24 in 2024-2025.

And he doesn't appear on the provisional podium for top scorer in a European First Division championship. He's fourth.

Three strikers are in front of him. Mohamed Salah has scored 27 goals this season in the Premier League. A goal in the five European championships (Germany, England, Spain, France and Italy), is valued at two points, he is first with 54 points.

The 'runner-up', Viktor Gyökeres, has scored seven more goals than him this season, but plays for Sporting, in a league, the Portuguese League, which is not among the top five in the UEFA coefficient (7th).

As a result, a goal is worth 1.5 points. In the Golden Boot standings, the Swedish striker, who has scored 34 goals, is second with 51 points.

Behind Gyökeres is Robert Lewandowski. The 36-year-old Pole, winner in 2021 (41 goals) and 2022 (35 goals) with Bayern Munich, has scored 25 times in La Liga and has 50 points.

The first Frenchman is Kylian Mbappé, 6th (22 goals, 44 points), just ahead of PSG winger Ousmane Dembélé, author of 21 goals (42 points), equal with Manchester City players Erling Haaland, Omar Marmoush (transferred from Frankfurt in January) and Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.

Here is the current Golden Boot ranking:

1. Mohamed Salah, Liverpool (England): 27 goals, 54 points
2. Viktor Gyökeres, Sporting (Portugal): 34 goals, 51 points
3. Robert Lewandowski, FC Barcelona (Spain): 25 goals, 50 points 4. Harry Kane, Bayern Munich 4.8 points 5. Mateo Retegui, Atalanta Bergamo (Italy): 23 goals, 46 points
6. Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid (Spain): 22 goals, 44 points
7. Ousmane Dembélé, PSG (France); Erling Haaland, Manchester City (England); Omar Marmoush, Frankfurt (Germany)/Manchester City (England); Alexander Isak, Newcastle (England): 21 goals each, 42 points.
