Scandalous/ Çameria is threatened and not allowed to play the Champions League, TKZ reacts strongly

A scandal has been registered in Greece and at the center of it is the Albanian team "Çamëria" that represents our country in the international 5x5 mini-football tournament taking place on the island of Crete from October 17-20.

"Chameria" was supposed to be a participant in the Socca Champions League, as it has regularly participated in non-professional competitions, under the direction of the Albanian Football Federation and Socca Albania, which represents Albania in Socca International.

In recent days, the Albanian team led by coach Irtan Sejko has played in this international tournament, which is equivalent to the mini-football Champions League, playing two matches ( one won and one lost ), but the organizers and leaders of Socca International The Federation announced this Friday that the Greek government no longer allows the use of the name and logo "Chameria."

The authorities in Crete have made the decision to exclude the Chameria team on the grounds that the name of the Albanian representation is not appropriate, while the media on the Greek island have also raised concerns about the name of the team.

This incident can be considered as part of a repeated wave of xenophobia on the part of Greek media and institutions towards Albanians.

Tfiozat Kuqezi have also reacted to what is happening in Crete, where the Albanian team "Chamëria" is not allowed to participate in the Minifootball Champions League because of the logo, name and jersey.

The largest group that supports the Albanian national football team in a post on Instagram, states that the boys of the "Chameria" team have been threatened by the Hellenic nationalists.

"We join our boys who are not afraid of the "Greek" nationalist forces after the threats they received because of their name in the 5x5 tournament being played in Crete. History has always proved that we have Çameri as our homeland and we will always fight for it", declare Kuqezi fans.
