Ancelotti's clarification: Davide is in talks with a European team, he won't follow me

Carlo Ancelotti has officially started his new adventure as coach of the Brazil national team.
At the presentation conference, he announced the first list of players assembled for the South American qualifying challenges against Ecuador (in Guayaquil) and Paraguay (in Sao Paulo), selecting 25 names among confirmations and surprises.
But what caught the eye was another important announcement: Davide Ancelotti, his son and loyal assistant in his adventures with Real Madrid and Milan, will not be part of Brazil's technical staff.
The legendary coach himself explained the reason at the press conference:
"He is currently in negotiations with a European team. So I thought it was right for him not to come with me."
"If he finds a team, I wish him all the best. If not, he is always welcome back to us."
According to sources close to the club, everything indicates that Davide Ancelotti is close to being appointed as the new Rangers coach, thus starting his first journey as a head coach.
In his absence, Paul Clement will be Ancelotti's deputy on the Brazil staff.
An experienced figure, who has previously worked with the Italian at some of Europe's biggest clubs.
The Selecao's technical staff will also be supplemented with local analysts, assistants and doctors.
A new page begins for the two Ancelottis: the father will lead Brazil towards the dream of another world title, while the son tries to build his own identity in European football.
