Real Madrid shocked, Courtois injured and misses the challenge against Bayern

Real Madrid have confirmed some bad news for their goalkeeper. Following medical examinations carried out today, Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in his right thigh.
The injury came during the match against Manchester City, in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16, where Courtois was forced to leave the field at the start of the second half.
According to Marca, his absence is expected to last around a month and a half, ruling him out for at least seven matches. This means the goalkeeper will not be available for the two crucial matches against Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals.
In his absence, the Madrid goalkeeper will be entrusted to Ukrainian Andriy Lunin, who replaced Courtois in the match against City. Lunin is expected to be a starter starting from the derby against Atletico Madrid in the championship, a challenge that is considered decisive for the progress of the season.
