Wanda Nara accuses Mauro Icardi of attempted theft and domestic violence

Wanda Nara has made serious accusations against her ex-husband, footballer Mauro Icardi.

She accuses Icardi of domestic violence and attempted theft. According to Argentine media, the incident took place in the apartment of the former captain of Inter in Buenos Aires, after a visit that Wanda had made to meet her daughters, Isabella and Francesca.

It is reported that Wanda had just returned from a trip to Brazil with her new partner, and it was too late when she went to Icardi's house to meet the children.

According to her, after a fierce argument between the couple, the situation worsened and there was violence. Icardi did not want Wanda to leave the house, but she managed to get her things and leave the apartment.

Wanda also claims that Icardi tried to steal an amount of 70 thousand dollars from her. This has increased the tensions between them, since Wanda Nara's accusations happened shortly after a difficult period in her personal and family life.

Mauro Icardi allegedly received notice of the allegations and is obliged to allow Wanda to return to her home. Also, he must appear in court on November 15 for the first hearing of the divorce proceedings.

In one of his reactions, Icardi has denied the accusations, describing them as an exaggeration on the part of his ex-wife.

"The accusation of gender-based violence is a slander," he said, stressing that there was no form of violence.
Mauro Icardi's current team, Galatasaray, have also released an official statement to clarify the situation.

"The speculation about our player Mauro Icardi does not reflect the truth. The player (who recently suffered a serious knee injury) is staying in Argentina and has nothing to do with these allegations. Please do not pay attention to these news that are intended to tire our athletes," the club's response reads.
