Google is down! Problems with services in several European countries, including Albania

Users in many European countries are reporting a significant and ongoing outage in Google services this morning.

Reports were posted on downdetector.com and social media platforms by users in Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece and other Eastern European countries. The problems, which are also being reported in our country, appear to be widespread and are affecting key Google services.

YouTube was among the most affected, with users reporting an inability to upload videos, both on the desktop and mobile versions.

Google Maps was unable to load maps, search for locations, or calculate routes, leaving travelers without the usual navigational assistance.

The Google search engine also experienced serious problems, with users reporting error messages or unfinished searches.

Gmail experienced milder outages, with some users experiencing problems sending or receiving emails.

Google Drive also became inaccessible to many users, blocking access to documents and files stored in the cloud.

A common element across all services was the " 5xx server error " message, indicating a technical problem on Google's servers.

Until the situation normalizes, users can turn to other platforms for searches such as Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo or Brave Search.

Meanwhile, Google has yet to make an official statement on the cause of the outage.
