OpenAI launches the most advanced artificial intelligence model, GPT-5 provides answers at the doctoral level

OpenAI has officially introduced GPT-5, its newest and most powerful artificial intelligence model, which is available to all users, even those without a subscription, starting today.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman described GPT-5 as "a major step towards human-level artificial intelligence (AGI)," calling it smarter, faster, and more useful than previous models.

"Having something like GPT-5 would be unimaginable in any other period of human history," Altman said before the model's release.

According to OpenAI, GPT-5 has the capacity to create software from scratch, provide more accurate answers, and use doctoral-level logical and inductive reasoning in areas such as programming and writing.

The model has been trained to be more honest, more accurate, and to provide users with a more human interaction experience.

Altman made a simple comparison:

“GPT-3 was like talking to a high school student. GPT-4 was like a college student. GPT-5 is the first time it feels like you’re talking to a real expert in any field.”

GPT-5 is already active for users and it is expected that in the coming days it will be verified whether it is really as revolutionary as claimed.
