Peaky Blinders returns with a new season! Thomas Shelby's story is not over

Don't hang up Thomas Shelby's hat just yet - the legend of "Peaky Blinders" is far from over. Despite the sixth season being slated to be the last and the movie "The Immortal Man" being supposed to wrap up the saga, it seems creator Steven Knight couldn't stay away from the dark and seductive world of Birmingham.
According to The Sun, the BBC has given the green light for a new season, with filming expected to begin this September, while broadcast is planned for next year.
This time, the story will jump forward – to the 1950s, a new era of urban unrest, violent gangs like the Teddy Boys and the rise of infamous names like the Kray twins in London. A new era, but with shadows of the old.
Although the upcoming film, set during World War II, was intended as the official finale, it seems the “Peaky Blinders” universe still has a lot to tell. And the best news? Cillian Murphy could return as Thomas Shelby, to once again give us that cold intensity that only he knows how to bring to the screen.
The series, which began in 2013 and tentatively ended in 2022, has been one of the BBC's biggest hits and a global phenomenon thanks to Netflix. Now, all eyes are on this new chapter.
