Turkey in chaos, fans explode against Montella: Resign

Italy started the Nations League match against Turkey in Bursa in the worst possible way, while the fans' anger quickly erupted in the stands.
After Italy's goals, which put the match 2-0 ahead, Turkish fans began to protest against coach Vincenzo Montella. Loud chants of "Montella istifa!", which in Albanian means "Montella, resign!" were heard from the stands.
The protest was also accompanied by chants against the Turkish Football Federation, with fans also demanding “TFF istifa!” – the resignation of the federation’s leaders. The situation escalated further as Italy continued to score and took a 3-0 lead within 27 minutes, further increasing the discontent in the stadium.

Thus, a match that was supposed to be another important test for Montella quickly turned into a night of protests. The Italian coach was placed at the center of the anger of Turkish fans, while there was no shortage of chants against the federation's president, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, from the stands.
