The son-in-law of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltezi, has reacted for the first time to reports claiming a family connection between him and Ergys Agas.
In a reaction published on social media, Malltezi says he does not know if Agasi is a second, third or fourth cousin, while emphasizing that he has never met him.
"Since Edi Rama is trying to make me his cousin now that I'm over 50, I'm giving him the answer he deserves," writes Malltezi.
He continues his reaction with accusations against Agas and claims that the latter has collaborated with other people against him and Sali Berisha.
"We can all have thieves and bandits like Rama's Ergysi in our tribe. I have no idea if he is a 2nd, 3rd or 4th cousin, because I have never met him ," writes Malltezi.
