Vau i Dejës - The police operation codenamed "STAJKA" is finalized.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police after he had adapted the bar for drug use and gambling.
A quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis, suspected cannabis seeds, a suitcase with poker chips, gambling cards, and a cutting tool (knife) were also seized.
In implementation of the plan of measures to increase security parameters and crack down on illegalities, based also on the information obtained in operational ways, the services of the Vau i Dejës Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the “Eagle” Special Force, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “STAJKA”. As a result of this operation, citizen AP, 39 years old, resident of the village of Stajkë, was arrested in flagrante delicto. During the search of a bar-cafe, used by citizen AP, in the village of Stajkë, the Police services found and seized a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis, a suitcase with poker chips and gambling cards, which are used for games of chance. Also, during the search of this citizen's apartment, the Police services found another quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis, suspected cannabis seeds and a cutting tool (knife),” the police statement reads.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution Office, for the criminal offenses of "Production and sale of narcotics", "Adaptation of premises for drug use", "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons", "Making premises available for gambling", "Organization of gambling".
