Drugs to Corfu/ The criminal gang headed by the Albanian is destroyed

The police of Corfu have hit a criminal group that trafficked drugs from Albania to the Greek island and then distributed it, arresting 8 people including two of the leaders of the group. The main leader of the group, who is outside Greece, and one of his collaborators, who is in prison in Greece, have been identified and wanted.
20 people who bought narcotics from this criminal group have been identified and put under investigation.
This criminal group has been operating since July 2021. On July 2, 2021, 3.6 kg of marijuana were seized from this group, on June 1, 2022, 2.8 kg of marijuana were seized, on June 29, 2022, 4.7 kg of marijuana were seized, on September 1 2022, 4.4 kg of marijuana were seized and on October 27, 3.4 kg of marijuana were seized.
The head of the group is a 34-year-old Albanian citizen with permanent residence outside Greece, who supplied the group with drugs. The sub-leaders of the group are a 54-year-old Greek and a 77-year-old Greek, who were arrested yesterday. The leader of the group was responsible for drug trafficking from Albania to Corfu, as well as instructing the two Greeks on drug distribution.
