Endrit Rustemi is a young Albanian who has been living and working in Italy for years. Endrit Rustemi emigrated with his mother and two sisters to the neighboring country when he was only 9 years old and today he is 33 years old and one of the most famous pizzerias in Italy.

Today, on World Pizza Day, the prestigious Italian TGCOM 24 dedicates a special article to the pizza chef of Albanian origin, Endrit Rustemi. He was born in Fier in 1991.

The 33-year-old lives in Brescia, where he is married and has two daughters. But life hasn't been easy, he first moved to Milan and together with his mother and two sisters slept in the train station.

Then, thanks to the intervention of social services, he goes to live in a juvenile community in Brescia, where he grows up and is educated until adulthood.

" I think it was written, it was my destiny, since when I was little in Albania, together with my grandmother, I wanted to prepare the dough as much as we could, because the economic situation was very difficult. And I immediately fell in love with those doughs, those flavors, the same ones that I found and find every day in pizzas. Then the opportunity came to me, after 8 years in a community for minors, to work in a pizzeria at the age of 17. A professional experience that marked me forever" - Endriti tells TGcom24.

He worked for several years in various pizzerias in Milan until he opened his own business, which is a great success in Brescia.
