Accused of killing 45-year-old man with gun in Shijak in January, arrest warrant issued for two cousins

The security measure "Arrest in prison" is being executed for the 2 suspected perpetrators of the murder of a 45-year-old man in January 2026, in Shijak.

Specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Section of the Durrës Local Police Directorate executed the security measure "Arrest in prison", assigned by the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for the criminal offenses "Intentional Murder", committed in collaboration, and "Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition", for the following citizens:

-IF, 38 years old and DF, 36 years old (cousins), both residents of Shijak.

These citizens were declared wanted after investigations suspected that on 27.01.2026, in the city of Shijak, they had a conflict for weak motives with citizen D. Ç., 45 years old, and shot him with a firearm. Due to the injuries, the 45-year-old died a few days later in the hospital.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action.
