Azem Hajdari's daughter, Rudina, has reacted with emotion to the protests taking place in Tirana against American investments in the country, while emphasizing that the people who govern the country are not the only ones to blame for this.

"Let us wipe away the tears and do what is possible to further describe this great battle. The battle we are fighting together is the battle against the evil that has gripped the country for many, many years."

It is not only the fault of those who are in power today, but it is also the fault of those who left us without hope. It is the fault of those who the opposition had many more things in hand to do and inspire but did not do. Here we are," says Rudina Hajdari in a video published on her social network Instagram.

Stressing that this is the moment that Albanians have come together to protest for a different Albania, Rudina Hajdari said that more than ever, people need to be together.

Rudina Hajdari's words: I am walking this entire path with some feelings that make me think that I am not the only one experiencing these feelings. If I shed tears every time I see those people gathering in protest, I imagine how many other people like me shed just as many tears in their eyes, with the desire, with the belief that something better will be done for this country. I am one of those people who has always loved that country and will love it until its last day. But today Albania is a country that makes us all proud. More than ever, we feel that we must be close to it. To gather our strength, to be strong.

Let us wipe away our tears and do what we can to further describe this great battle. The battle we are fighting together is the battle against the evil that has gripped the country for many, many years.

It is not only the fault of those who are in power today, but it is also the fault of those who left us without hope. It is the fault of those who the opposition had many more things in hand to do and to inspire but did not do. Here we are, I feel sad about the fact that I am not there but I will be very soon.
