The Assembly Bureau upholds Agron Shehaj's 30-day expulsion from parliament

The Parliament Bureau has decided to leave in force the disciplinary measure against Agron Shehaj, excluding him from Parliament's proceedings for 30 days.

The decision came after the request of Socialist MPs, who accuse the leader of the Opportunity Party of insulting Finance Minister Petrit Malaj during a clash in the Parliament hall.

According to the Socialists, the statements of the leader of the Mundësia party have crossed the line of parliamentary debate, leading to the request for disciplinary action.

The exception came with the claim that Shehaj addressed the minister with the word 'maskara'.
