The Democratic Party Parliamentary Group has filed a request for the development of a motion with debate in the Assembly, regarding the European Commission's report on Albania for 2025.
The request was signed by the chairman of the parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, while the document lists 20 issues that, according to the opposition, were identified in the European Parliament report and require immediate treatment by the Albanian Parliament.
Among the findings mentioned, the opposition also refers to the European Commission's warnings about possible negative impacts on the country's European integration process, related to the resort project in the Zvërnec area.
According to the parliamentary group, these issues should be discussed in a special way in the Assembly, due to their importance for the process of Albania's integration into the European Union.
"The Democratic Party Parliamentary Group has requested the development of a motion with debate on the European Commission's report on Albania for 2025. The request bears the signature of Chairman Gazment Bardhi, while it lists 20 concerns identified by the European Parliament, which require immediate treatment by the Albanian Parliament ," writes the DP.
