The Sheteti Police have finalized the "Cases" operation, which revealed 3 cases in Milot and Laç where premises had been adapted for gambling with slot machines and poker tables, and in one of them narcotics were also sold.
As a result of the operation, 3 citizens have been arrested. The three people who have been arrested are Shkëlzen Preni, Dorjan Medha and S. Sh., Pjetër Lleshi, the owner of one of the premises, has been declared wanted, and another person has been placed under investigation at large, all owners or administrators of these premises.
The Blues have also announced that 15 machines, 3 tables for the game "Poker", a quantity of the narcotic substance Cocaine, a large amount of money, as well as other items that served this illegal activity have been seized.
State Police/Operation codenamed "Cases" is finalized.
The operation was carried out following information provided by the General Directorate of the State Police.
Three cases were discovered in Milot and Laç where premises had been adapted for gambling with slot machines and poker tables.
One of the premises, also adapted for the use and sale of narcotics.
15 machines, 3 tables for the game "Poker", a quantity of the narcotic substance Cocaine, a large amount of money, as well as other items that served this illegal activity were seized.
3 citizens are arrested, 1 citizen is criminally prosecuted and 1 is wanted (owners and/or administrators of the premises).
Based on information provided by the General Directorate of the State Police, for several cases where premises had been adapted for the development of gambling games, with machines and poker tables, the Police services organized and finalized the operation codenamed "Cases".
During the operation, 3 premises adapted for the illegal organization of gambling were discovered, and it was found that narcotics were also used and sold in one of them. Specifically, for these cases:
- citizens Sh. P., 21 years old and DM, 33 years old, were arrested, and citizen S. Sh., 61 years old, was criminally prosecuted, after 8 machines, 2 tables and other items for games of chance were found in a bar in Laç, owned by the prosecuted citizen, a subject that was suspected to be co-administered by the 2 arrested, as well as a quantity of suspected narcotic substance Cocaine, divided into doses;
-citizen YV, 45 years old, was arrested after 6 devices and items used to play games of chance were found in his bar in Milot;
- citizen P. Ll., 31 years old, was declared wanted, after 2 machines, 1 table and gambling items were found in a premises owned by him, in Milot. Work is underway to capture the 31-year-old.
Controls against this illegality continue in various entities and environments.
The procedural materials were referred to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.
