“Christian Dior” and “New Balance”/ Customs block goods suspected of infringement of property rights

The Anti-Smuggling Directorate and the Monitoring Directorate, in intensive cooperation and coordination with the customs branches in Kakavija and Durrës, have blocked 5,340 pairs of sneakers that infringe on intellectual property for brands.

The goods belong to the brands "Christian Dior" and "New Balance" and the seizure was carried out on suspicion of infringement of intellectual property rights.

The blocking of the goods was carried out within the framework of the General Directorate of Customs' commitment to guaranteeing equality in free trade and law enforcement.

Customs structures are continuing further verifications of the cases in question.
