41-year-old arrested in Tirana for carrying firearms

Tirana-The operation codenamed "Doreza" is finalized.
The 41-year-old was driving around with a firearm in his vehicle and was arrested during checks by the "Eagle" services.
The arrested man, to hide the weapon, had improvised a space in the vehicle door.
The firearm (pistol) with magazine and cartridges is seized.
As a result of checks by the "Eagle" Special Force services, carried out 24/7 and based on information obtained operationally, with the objective of stopping citizens in possession of illegal items, the codenamed "Doreza" operation was finalized.
As part of this operation, the services of Police Commissariat No. 2 carried out procedural actions for the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen L. Sh., 41 years old, resident of Tirana.
From the search of the vehicle in which this citizen was detained during the night, on "Selitë e Vogël" street, 1 firearm (pistol) with magazine and cartridges was found, hidden in an improvised space by the arrestee, near the driver's door handle of the vehicle.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
