A serious event shook the capital on the afternoon of February 20, when citizen Egli Pashollari, known by the nickname "Çerri i Parkut", was stabbed to death on "Kongresi i Lushnjes" street, in a populated area and at a time when it was widely frequented by passers-by.
Regarding this event, Euronews Albania was able to obtain footage of the tragic moment where citizen Gazment Buçpapaj stabbed the 31-year-old, whose wounds proved fatal.
As seen in the video below, Pashollari, as soon as he gets out of his white "BMW 7 Series" vehicle, is attacked by Buçpapaj along with his partner and another person.
They hit the young man, and then Gazment Buçpapa stabs him in the back. Although passersby tried to break up the fight, everything happened within seconds and unfortunately the fight escalated to the use of cold weapons.
The serious incident occurred on the afternoon of February 20, at around 3:40 p.m. Young Egli Pashollari, who was said to have been one of Emiljano Shullazi's close associates, was stabbed in the back and unfortunately died on the way to the hospital.
In connection with this incident, the police have declared citizen Gazment Buçpapa wanted, while the latter's wife has also given testimony to the police.
Initially, she stated that the 31-year-old had harassed her and therefore told her husband, who then stabbed the young man. But this statement was refuted just a few hours later, when she was the one who said that the "apple of contention" became the roadblock.
In her testimony, she explained that her husband had gone to pick her up from work as a manager at a supermarket in the former Park area and to take her for a medical check-up. After she got into the car, the road was blocked by the 31-year-old's vehicle.
Gazment Buçpapa honked his horn to clear the way, but according to her, Egli Pashollari got out of the vehicle and cursed and insulted her. Immediately after that, her husband got out of the vehicle and got involved in a physical conflict with the young man, a conflict that escalated to the point of using a knife. After stabbing the 31-year-old, Gazment Buçpapa, according to his wife's testimony, left the scene, abandoning their vehicle in an area of Tirana and then continuing on the road by taxi.
As soon as they arrived at the apartment, he left and is currently being sought by the police.
