A citizen from Tirana has contacted our editorial office to report a concerning case related to food safety.
She sent a video showing a food product purchased at Big Market, specifically at the Olympic branch. According to her, it is "crispy chicken wings", which turned out to be expired.
In the message sent to the editorial office, the citizen writes that the product in question had an expiration date of January 1, while the purchase was made today, January 10.
In the video sent, she states that the product was purchased only a few hours ago and clearly shows the expiration date label, emphasizing that this product was still in the supermarket's refrigerators. She expresses concern that such products may pose a health risk, especially for children, and demands that measures be taken by the relevant institutions.
