NAMES/ Operation against prostitution in Greece, 3 Albanians arrested, 2 wanted

Greek police have dismantled a criminal group whose members used women for prostitution in brothels in the Metaksurgio area of Athens, with the aim of illegal financial gain.
During the police operation, 7 people were arrested, of which 3 are members of the criminal group and 4 after breaking the seals imposed by the state authorities.
As it resulted from the investigations, the suspects had created a criminal group, with distinct roles, and used women in prostitution, which they sent to brothels in the Metaksurgio area, benefiting from part of the income.
In order to serve their purpose, they even rented various buildings in which public houses were housed and operated. The properties in which the brothels operated were leased by one member of the criminal group, while the other members were responsible for maintaining/protecting the facilities and supervising the females.
As part of the police operation, simultaneous checks were carried out in 7 public houses, a minimarket, a car rental company and a house.
During the operation, Albanian citizens Marjol Bardhi 36 years old, Aleksi Muskaj 35 years old and Laureta Bashari 52 years old were arrested, as well as a Bulgarian, a German citizen and a Romanian. Meanwhile, Albanian citizens Myfit Ademi, 36, and Fatjon Gjerani, 42, have been declared wanted.
During the checks in public houses, two Albanian girls aged 20 and 29 years old as well as a Greek, a Romanian, a Georgian, two Moldovans and a Nigerian aged between 31 and 58 were found.
