Police officer Irakli Koçiaj surrenders to the Saranda Police Station, 4 employees of the Saranda Municipality IMT still wanted.

A crime officer for the Ksamil area, he had been wanted since May 25 after an arrest warrant was issued by the Saranda Prosecutor's Office for "abuse of office." Koçiaj is suspected of favoring unauthorized construction in Ksamil.

So far, 8 former Saranda police officers have been arrested on this charge. Two of them, including the Chief of the Police Station, are in prison for 30 days and it is expected that their security measures will be reassessed in a few days, 5 others are under "house arrest".
