The police of Shkodra have arrested a 39-year-old man sentenced to 13 years and 5 months of imprisonment in Italy for exploiting prostitution.
The structures of DVP Shkodër, in implementation of the decision of the Shkodër Judicial District Court which had changed the security measure from "House arrest" to "Prison arrest", for a citizen convicted in Italy, have exercised control in his apartment , in order to execute the security measure. This citizen was under "House Arrest" security measure, pending the completion of the procedures for his extradition.
39-year-old Klodian Ndogaj (Jakini), a resident of the village of Beltojë, Shkodër, was not found in the apartment, but was caught and detained by the Police, in the Regional Hospital of Shkodër.
The Court of First Instance of Shkodër has assigned the security measure "Arrest with prison" for this citizen, until the completion of the procedures for his extradition to the Italian state.
The Court of Asti, Italy, by decision dated 23.10.2019, has sentenced this citizen to 13 years and 5 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offense "Exploitation of prostitution", provided by the Italian Criminal Code.
